The Zoom and Laser bleaching uses a special whitening agent that is activated by the 500-600 Nm wavelength of light. This type of whitening will lighten your teeth in about an hour.
The first step in the "at home whitening" and bleaching process is impressions. Dr. Gibson will take full impressions of your upper and lower teeth. These impressions will be made into custom bleaching trays. The trays will fit onto your teeth perfectly so there is much less possibility of gum damage from the whitening solution.
The second step is to place the bleaching solution in the trays and wear them for a few hours a day or at night. Within 7-10 days, you will see a significant improvement in the color of your teeth.
